Kyla is currently enrolled in the University of Edinburgh’s LLM in Innovation, Technology and the Law, strengthening the connection between her established commercial experience and the legal questions emerging alongside new technologies.
The programme examines how law responds to technological change—and how regulation can protect people and institutions while enabling responsible innovation. This continuing study complements Kyla’s work with technology-driven businesses, financial services organizations and teams navigating AI, data and digital transformation.
Software, platforms and decentralised technology
Exploring how law applies to software-based products, digital systems and evolving technology models.
Digital rights, media and public governance
Considering how technology affects rights, institutions, accountability and participation in digital society.
Advanced study and independent dissertation
The LLM combines 120 credits of taught study with a 60-credit dissertation focused on independent legal research.
